Rotel has unveiled the Michi Q5 Transport DAC, a high-performance CD player that promises to elevate the listening experience. Combining cutting-edge technology with meticulous craftsmanship, the Q5 serves as a CD transport, a CD player, and a standalone DAC.
The Q5 features a top-loading CD mechanism crafted from CNC-machined aluminum, ensuring durability and a sleek design. This mechanism is spring-mounted to reduce unwanted vibrations, providing a stable platform for flawless CD playback.
At its core lies the premium 8-channel ESS ES9028PRO DAC, allocating four channels each to the left and right stereo tracks. This configuration enables precise digital-to-analog conversion, delivering exceptional sound quality with minimal distortion.
