Rotel continues to demonstrate its commitment to high-fidelity audio with the introduction of the DX-5 integrated amplifier. Building on the aesthetic and technical foundations laid by the DX-3 headphone amplifier, the DX-5 encapsulates Rotel’s dedication to delivering pristine sound quality in a compact form factor. Measuring 215 x 76 x 251 millimeters and weighing just 4.1 kilograms, the DX-5 is designed to fit seamlessly into any audio setup without compromising on performance.
At the heart of the DX-5 lies the ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DAC, capable of processing digital music signals up to 768 kHz. This ensures a signal-to-noise ratio exceeding 100 dB and a frequency response ranging from 10 Hz to 100 kHz (±0.19 dB), providing listeners with detailed highs, rich midrange, and substantial bass. The amplifier operates in Class AB mode, utilizing high-current transistors and a factory-manufactured toroidal transformer to maintain clarity and robustness across all frequencies.
