Introduces a groundbreaking linear tracking system with less than 0.15-degree tracking error.
Features a moving support disc, isolated subchassis, and resonance suppression for optimal tonearm alignment.
Uses inductive proximity sensors to dynamically adjust platter movement for flawless tracking.
Soulution, a renowned Swiss audio brand, has unveiled its inaugural vinyl turntable, the Soulution 787. Designed for audiophiles who demand unparalleled precision, the 787 introduces a groundbreaking linear tracking system. This innovative approach features a moving support disc and a traditional pivoting tonearm that operates with minimal deviation, achieving tracking errors of less than 0.15 degrees. The eight-inch tonearm is mounted on an isolated subchassis equipped with a resonance suppression system, ensuring optimal alignment along the linear groove.
The linear tracking mechanism of the Soulution 787 distinguishes itself by allowing the entire support disc assembly to glide sideways beneath the tonearm. This eliminates the friction and unbalanced forces typically associated with tangential tonearms, which often result in tracking errors and alignment issues. The high-precision inductive proximity sensors continuously monitor the tonearm's position, dynamically adjusting the side movement of the platter to maintain flawless tracking across the record's grooves. This design effectively merges the benefits of rotating tonearms with the precision of linear tracking, offering a superior listening experience without the common drawbacks.
Technical excellence extends to the power supply of the Soulution 787, which incorporates a switching power unit with highly efficient DC-DC converters and low-noise linear regulators. The entire platter assembly, including the high-precision magnetic bearing sub-disc and the motor with precious metal brushes, contributes to the turntable’s stability and minimal tracking error from the outer to the inner grooves. With dimensions of 480 × 450 × 250 mm and a weight of 36 kg, the Soulution 787 is built to deliver both performance and durability.
The Soulution 787 will be available for purchase in the fourth quarter of 2025, priced at 67,500 Swiss francs (approximately 6.5 million rubles). Audiophiles eager to experience the precision and craftsmanship of this Swiss-engineered turntable can anticipate its debut at the High End Show 2025 in Munich. The Soulution 787 represents a significant advancement in vinyl playback technology, promising to deliver a precise and distortion-free audio reproduction that meets the highest standards of sound enthusiasts.
