Victrola is elevating its lineup of Stream turntables with a significant software update that broadens their streaming capabilities beyond the Sonos ecosystem. Owners of the Stream Carbon, Stream Pearl, and Stream Onyx models will soon benefit from enhanced connectivity options, including Bluetooth, Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), and Roon support. This update is already live for the high-end Stream Sapphire model and will automatically install on other compatible devices, seamlessly integrating with a wider range of speakers through the Victrola app.
The inclusion of Bluetooth allows users to pair their turntables with any Bluetooth-enabled headphones or speakers, providing greater flexibility in how vinyl audio is enjoyed. Additionally, UPnP support enables high-resolution audio streaming over Wi-Fi to a variety of wireless speakers, AV receivers, and music streamers from brands such as KEF, JBL, Sony, Samsung, WiiM, Denon, and Marantz. For audiophiles seeking lossless quality, Roon Ready Relay support offers streaming of up to 24-bit/48kHz FLAC files to any Roon-compatible device, ensuring pristine sound reproduction.
