Founded in 1996 by Per Kristoffersen, a talented carpenter, passionate music lover, and avid audiophile, Peak Consult began when Per decided to create his own cabinets for speakers, evolving from cabinet engineering to developing complete ultra high-end loudspeakers for friends who recognized his exceptional talents. Based in Middelfart, Denmark, the company operates from a traditional furniture workshop where skilled craftsmen use manually operated tools to cut, shape, and join wooden panels for handcrafted speaker cabinets. In 2021, a new era commenced for Peak Consult under new ownership by CEO Lennart Asbjørn and Dynaudio co-founder Wilfried Ehrenholz, bringing decades of industry expertise to the 25-year-old Danish manufacturer. Situated in central Denmark, Peak Consult specializes in exclusive ultra high-end loudspeakers with meticulous attention to cabinet design and premium materials, producing all drivers in Denmark according to strict Peak specifications. The company maintains a low-volume, hand-built production process from start to finish, relying on the judgment and skill of highly experienced staff to create speakers recognized for exceptional build quality, craftsmanship, and superior acoustic performance that represents the pinnacle of Danish audio engineering excellence.
