The Pioneer PL-5 is a turntable produced by Pioneer in the 1980s. It is a belt-driven, fully automatic turntable with a DC servo motor. The PL-5 featured a lightweight, low-mass tonearm and a dynamically balanced, statically balanced S-shaped pipe arm. It also had anti-skating control and pitch control for adjusting the playback speed.
