I-O Data Introduces 'BDReco BRP-R1' Drive for TV Show Storage via Blu-ray or DVD at Approx. $230

The "BD Reco BRP-R1" and "DVD Reco DVRP-R1" are external drives enabling TV-recorded programs to be saved onto discs.

Scheduled for release in mid-February, the products are priced at approximately ¥22,880 and ¥10,340, respectively.

These drives support recording via USB HDD on compatible TVs, addressing data portability and preservation challenges.
