LG Reinforces Focus on AI and Smart TVs in Organizational Restructure

LG Electronics is undergoing a major restructuring starting in 2026, aiming to enhance flexibility and AI-driven innovation.

A new CEO, Lyu Jae-cheol, formerly head of LG's home appliance division, will lead the company from December 1.

The TV and IT divisions will merge into a "Display Business" unit for streamlined product development.
