Spotify has introduced its Lossless tier, offering 24-bit/44.1kHz FLAC streaming, marking a significant improvement over traditional compressed audio formats.

McIntosh now supports Spotify Lossless on its DS200 Streaming DAC, MSA5500 Streaming Integrated Amplifier, and MX123 A/V Processor.

The DS200 Streaming DAC ($4,000) enhances existing audio systems with balanced/unbalanced analog outputs for digital streaming.
