The Transrotor Z1 is a turntable designed for vinyl enthusiasts, integrating advanced design and engineering. It features an innovative build with a massive and stable chassis crafted from a 25 mm thick acrylic base, ensuring optimal resonance control. The turntable is equipped with three tonearms: an SME 309, a Transrotor S800, and a Jelco, allowing versatility in cartridge selection for varying listening preferences. The default tonearm is the Transrotor TR 800 S, which is a modified version of the Jelco SA-250, optimized for performance in Transrotor setups. The effective length of this tonearm is 229 mm, and it offers the ability to adjust the vertical tracking angle (VTA). The Z1 also comes with a synchronous motor housed in a heavy die-cast casing, contributing to reduced vibrations. It operates with a drive belt system that features a specially designed groove on the platter's edge for precise speed control. Users can enhance the performance of the Z1 further by opting for the Konstant M-1 external power supply, which provides an improved sine wave voltage and allows for electronic speed adjustments. The sound quality is characterized by deep, well-differentiated bass, a coherent midrange, and a smooth high-frequency response, making it capable of delivering engaging musical experiences. Available in multiple finishes, including a striking white matte, the Transrotor Z1 stands out for its aesthetic appeal and performance capabilities.
