AFMG Technologies GmbH (Ahnert Feistel Media Group) is a worldwide leader in software development for the pro-audio industry, founded through the collaboration between Dr. Wolfgang Ahnert and Dr. Rainer Feistel beginning in 1982. Headquartered in Berlin, Germany at Borkumstr. 2, the company was formally established as Software Design Ahnert GmbH (SDA) in 2000, becoming AFMG Technologies GmbH. With 10-20 employees from diverse backgrounds in engineering, physics, software development, business administration and marketing, AFMG created industry standards EASE (Electro-Acoustic Simulator for Engineers) and EASERA software for acoustic simulation and measurement. Eclipse Audio FIR Designer 4.5 Introduces Bose Professional Compatibility
Eclipse Audio's FIR Designer v4.5 now supports designing custom EQ settings for Bose Professional sound processors and amplifiers, including PowerShareX and PowerMatch models.
The new version introduces a "Bose Professional" IIR filter mode, ensuring compatibility with Bose's ControlSpace Designer software for professional configuration and control.
Supported filter types in the Bose mode include parametric, low-shelf, high-shelf, notch, and Butterworth high-pass and low-pass filters, exportable as .peq files.
