Børresen Acoustics is an innovative Danish high-end loudspeaker manufacturer founded in 2018 by Lars Kristensen and Michael Børresen as part of their visionary expansion following their departure from Raidho in 2017, establishing Børresen Acoustics to launch a revolutionary new series of speakers that would complement their existing range of premium audio products under what would become the Audio Group Denmark umbrella. Founded by Lars Kristensen, whose Hi-Fi journey began in childhood through his father's pioneering high-end audio dealership in Denmark and included 20 years as worldwide sales manager at Nordost (1992-2012), and Michael Børresen, an engineer whose passion for music and innate desire to create and redesign audio components led him to constantly analyze individual audio components seeking ways to improve them significantly, the company represents the culmination of their long-standing collaboration that began in the late 80s when Lars was managing a high-end audio store in Aalborg and met Michael during his engineering studies. Operating from their state-of-the-art headquarters at Rebslagervej 4, 9000 Aalborg, Denmark, as part of Audio Group Denmark's impressive facilities housing approximately 40 employees across production facilities, research and development department, test laboratories, and business administration, Børresen Acoustics joined the Audio Group Denmark umbrella at the end of 2020 alongside Ansuz, Aavik, and Axxess brands, creating a symbiotic relationship where all four brands share common DNA and long-standing collaboration in developing cutting-edge audio technology. The company achieved significant enhancement when Flemming E. Rasmussen, founder, chief-designer, and former owner of Gryphon Audio with 35 years of in-depth Hi-Fi industry experience, became the newest member of Audio Group Denmark's design and development team in May 2021, bringing his artistic passion for Hi-Fi equipment design and untiring creative potential to collaborate with Michael Børresen's innovative engineering approach.
