Eclipse Audio is a premium audio brand owned by Denso Ten Limited (formerly Fujitsu Ten), a Japanese automotive electronics company headquartered in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. Founded as Fujitsu Ten in 1972 and renamed Denso Ten in 2017 after acquisition by Denso Corporation, the company develops and manufactures car audio, video, navigation, and control systems. The Eclipse brand encompasses both automotive navigation/audio systems and high-end home audio speakers based on 'time domain theory' for accurate sound reproduction. Eclipse products include the TD series home speakers that won Good Design Award 2012, focusing on delivering 100% artistic content through precise temporal waveform reproduction rather than just frequency characteristics. The brand serves global markets with premium audio solutions under the larger Denso group, the world's second-largest auto parts supplier.
Eclipse Audio's FIR Designer v4.5 now supports designing custom EQ settings for Bose Professional sound processors and amplifiers, including PowerShareX and PowerMatch models.
The new version introduces a "Bose Professional" IIR filter mode, ensuring compatibility with Bose's ControlSpace Designer software for professional configuration and control.
Supported filter types in the Bose mode include parametric, low-shelf, high-shelf, notch, and Butterworth high-pass and low-pass filters, exportable as .peq files.
