The Harman/kardon AVR 8500 is an A/V receiver produced between 2002 and 2004, offered in a classic black finish with an original price around 2,999 Euro. It features THX Ultra certification, providing advanced audio processing capabilities including THX Cinema, THX-EX, and multiple DTS formats (including ES Discrete/Matrix 6.1 and DTS Neo6).
