ATC has unveiled the SCM20ASL, a high-performance two-way active loudspeaker designed for discerning audiophiles. Building on the foundation of the limited edition model released last year, the SCM20ASL is now available without production restrictions and comes in a variety of matte and high-gloss finishes, including premium options like rosewood and burr walnut. This expansion allows enthusiasts to choose a finish that best complements their listening environment.
Engineered for small to medium spaces, the SCM20ASL features a compact 20-liter sealed cabinet that ensures controlled bass response even when placed near walls. At the heart of the speaker lies ATC’s proprietary 150mm Super Linear mid/bass driver, coupled with a 25mm S-Spec dual-suspension tweeter. Each driver is powered by dedicated Class AB MOSFET amplifiers, delivering 200 watts to the mid/bass unit and 50 watts to the tweeter. This precise amplification pairing enhances phase coherence, response speed, and dynamic range, hallmark traits of ATC’s active systems.
