Innuos debuts the Stream1 and Stream3 music streamers, replacing the ZEN Mk3 models while maintaining ongoing support.
Stream1 offers entry-level Hi-Fi performance with modular outputs and optional linear power supply for enhanced sound.
Stream3 delivers reference-grade audio with advanced shielding, vibration control, and cutting-edge DAC options.
Innuos has unveiled its latest Stream Series at AXPONA 2025 in Chicago, marking a significant evolution in their digital audio product lineup. The new series introduces two high-performance music streamers and servers, the Innuos Stream1 and Stream3, which are set to replace the discontinued ZEN Mk3 models while continuing to receive support.
The Stream1 is designed as an entry-level Hi-Fi streamer that doesn't compromise on functionality. Encased in a compact half-width chassis, it offers flexibility with various output modules, including Standard DAC, Performance DAC, PhoenixUSB, and SPDIF. An optional linear power supply, the LPS1, allows for enhanced sound performance, catering to serious audiophiles seeking quality sound in a space-efficient design.
For those demanding reference-grade audio, the Stream3 stands out with its robust 10mm thick CNC-machined aluminum chassis, providing superior shielding and vibration control. It features the ARC6-CX active-rectification linear power supply unit and a bank of Mundorf capacitors developed in collaboration with Dr. Sean Jacobs. The optional PhoenixDAC module delivers high-end, dual-mono internal DAC capabilities with both RCA and XLR outputs, incorporating OCXO and FEMTO clocks for impeccable timing and minimal interference.
Complementing the hardware, Innuos has released the beta version of Sense 3.3, enhancing the user experience with integrations like Spotify Connect and Qobuz Connect, alongside the SmartQ feature that ensures uninterrupted music playback. The new Presets widget offers quick access to favorite playlists, mixes, and radio stations, streamlining music management for enthusiasts.
The Stream Series not only showcases Innuos's commitment to technical excellence but also provides audiophiles with versatile and expandable solutions for their digital music needs. Demonstrations at AXPONA, the Shanghai International Audio&Video Show, and the Kaohsiung Hi-End Audio Show have highlighted the series' capacity to deliver nuanced detail and emotional depth, reinforcing Innuos's position in the high-end digital audio market.
