Juzear has unveiled the Defiant, a pair of hybrid in-ear monitors developed in collaboration with renowned audio authority Z Reviews. The Defiant stands out with its sophisticated four-driver configuration, featuring one dynamic driver and three balanced armature drivers per earpiece. This setup is managed by a three-way crossover equipped with four acoustic tubes, ensuring precise frequency division and minimal distortion across the audio spectrum.
The construction of the Defiant incorporates a micro-perforated pressure balance system within its DLP 3D printed ear shells, designed for optimal acoustic performance and a comfortable, secure fit. The 10mm dynamic drivers boast a composite diaphragm made from carbon and polyurethane, delivering robust bass response that remains tight and controlled. Complementing this are the three customized balanced armature drivers, which provide clear midrange and crisp high frequencies, enhancing the overall sonic clarity and depth.
