New Nadac L preamplifier introduces a proprietary JFET-like CMOS ASIC volume control chip for precise, click-free operation.
Delivers high performance with a signal-to-noise ratio of ≥116 dB and THD+N, featuring 1 dB volume increments.
Dual mono design with ultra-precision components ensures exceptional noise control and signal clarity.
Master Fidelity is set to unveil the Nadac L preamplifier at the upcoming High End Munich audio fair next Thursday. Building upon the foundation laid by the Nadac D and Nadac C models, the Nadac L introduces a specialized volume control chip developed in collaboration with a leading semiconductor partner. This chip leverages a JFET-like CMOS ASIC architecture, ensuring seamless, click-free operation with channel imbalance maintained below 0.1 dB. With an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of at least 116 dB and ultra-low THD+N, the Nadac L allows volume adjustments ranging from 0 dB to -60 dB in precise 1 dB increments.
The proprietary Nadac L chip reflects Master Fidelity’s commitment to silicon-level design, echoing the high standards established with the Nadac D. This approach results in performance that surpasses traditional components, positioning the Nadac L as a standout in the high-end audio market. The preamplifier features a fully dual mono construction, utilizing ultra-precision 2 ppm resistors and high-quality hybrid coupling capacitors to ensure minimal noise and exceptional signal clarity. The power supply is equally meticulous, incorporating a custom toroidal transformer and an optimal rectification configuration to deliver dynamic, noise-free power suitable for intricate musical passages.
Attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the Nadac L’s design. The analog audio circuitry and digital control system are completely galvanically isolated, preserving signal integrity by preventing interference. The front panel is equipped with precise analog peak meters, offering an accuracy of ±0.05 dB for real-time monitoring of audio dynamics. This allows users to fine-tune their system with confidence, ensuring an immersive and accurate listening experience.
Master Fidelity's presence at High End Munich will feature the Nadac L alongside the Nadac D and Nadac C models, highlighting the brand’s dedication to innovation and excellence in high-fidelity audio. While pricing and delivery details for the Nadac L are yet to be announced, the introduction of this preamplifier underscores Master Fidelity’s mission to push the boundaries of audio performance through cutting-edge technology and meticulous engineering.
