Mutec GmbH has unveiled the Astralius, a cutting-edge external DAC, at the High End Show 2025 in Munich. This latest addition to Mutec’s lineup features a unique reclocking function that promises to elevate digital audio reproduction to unprecedented levels of precision and musicality. Building on the success of the MC3+ series, the Astralius sets a new benchmark in the realm of digital audio conversion.
The Astralius employs a dual-mono architecture, utilizing separate ESS Sabre® DAC chips for each channel. This design ensures maximum resolution and an extensive dynamic range, catering to the most discerning audiophiles. Central to its performance is Mutec’s proprietary REVIVE Re-Clocking Algorithm combined with their advanced 1G-Clock Technology.
