Wow, big news for music enthusiasts! British pop star Robbie Williams has confirmed that legendary rock icons Tony Iommi and Glenn Hughes have recorded a track with him for his upcoming album.

The song, titled "Rocket", features the former Black Sabbath members and is part of Williams' new album associated with his biopic, Better Man. Robbie mentioned in an interview with NME that he's aiming for a different sound than what we're used to from him. He said, "I wanted to make the album that I'd make if I'd left Take That now, knowing what I know. This particular song encapsulates that perfectly."

Describing "Rocket", Robbie said, "It's massive guitars, as you can imagine. It's adrenaline-filled and cool. And it's my favorite track off the new album." Hearing that from him gets us pretty excited about how this fusion of pop and classic rock will turn out.

In the same interview, Williams also confirmed that Liam and Noel Gallagher from Oasis are portrayed in his biopic, which covers the Britpop era and the clashes between artists of that time. He remarked, "I think Liam will be happy that he's in it. There's nothing in there that's not 100% factual! That's how he behaved!"

Robbie reflected on how both he and Liam have evolved over the years. "The people that we were are different from who we are now. I see Liam, and I love his interviews, and I love the person he's becoming. He's kinder now, introspective, and still marvelously funny—but the edges have been taken off. Same with me: the edges have been taken off."

It's fascinating to see Robbie branching out and collaborating with such heavyweights in the rock world. The blend of his pop sensibilities with Iommi's legendary guitar riffs and Hughes' powerful vocals is something we didn't expect, but we're definitely looking forward to it.

This upcoming album and biopic promise a nostalgic yet fresh take on Robbie's journey. With collaborations like this, it's safe to say we're in for a treat. Can't wait to give "Rocket" a listen!
