Samsung Electronics has secured its position as the world's leading gaming monitor brand for the sixth consecutive year, capturing a 21% share of the global market in 2024, according to the latest International Data Corporation (IDC) data. This achievement underscores Samsung's dominance in the rapidly evolving, performance-driven gaming industry. Additionally, Samsung maintained its top spot in the global OLED monitor segment for the second year in a row, achieving a 34.6% market share just two years after launching its first OLED model.

Samsung's continued growth is driven by its robust Odyssey gaming monitor lineup, which sets new standards for immersive and high-performance gaming. The Odyssey 3D (G90XF model) offers a revolutionary 27-inch display with glasses-free 3D gaming, utilizing eye-tracking and proprietary lenticular lens technology. It features a 165Hz refresh rate and a 1ms GTG response time, transforming 2D animations into 3D content seamlessly through the Reality Hub application. The Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF model) delivers exceptional color accuracy and ultra-fast performance with its 27 and 32-inch 4K 240Hz OLED panels, boasting the highest pixel density in its class and a 0.03ms GTG response time. The upcoming Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF model) is a 27-inch QHD QD-OLED monitor with an impressive 500Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms GTG response time, set to launch in the second half of 2025.
