Soulines Unveils TT9 Turntable with Golden Ratio Design & KiVi M3 Option
Soulines has introduced the TT9, bringing a unique blend of precision engineering and minimalistic design aimed at reducing resonance and enhancing vinyl playback. This Serbian-made turntable borrows elements from the company’s more expensive models, like individually CNC-machined components that ensure optimal fit and consistent performance.
The TT9’s plinth and sub-elements were reportedly shaped using the Golden Ratio and Fibonacci Sequence, combining artistic vision with scientific accuracy. Paired with a 30mm acrylic platter and an inverted main bearing crafted from stainless steel and brass, the deck is built to deliver stable rotation and minimal noise. A bespoke record clamp is also included to firmly hold records flat against the platter.
The package can include Soulines’ own KiVi M3 tonearm, notable for its one-piece construction and unipivot bearing. This design is intended to provide strong rigidity and smooth movement for a variety of cartridges. The tonearm can be purchased separately as well, offering flexibility to those who prefer their existing setup but seek an upgrade in arm performance.
Positioned as “affordable high-end,” the TT9 with KiVi M3 is listed at £3,990, and the KiVi M3 arm alone is offered at £2,090. According to Soulines, the emphasis is on precision-matched components and meticulous damping techniques that minimize unwanted vibration while preserving the musical soul of the records being played.
