Synergistic Research has unveiled the Ethernet Switch UEF Mk.II, a cutting-edge router designed specifically for high-fidelity audio systems. Building on the success of their first-generation UEF Ethernet Switch, the Mk.II integrates advanced Electromagnetic Cells (EM Cells) that effectively filter out unwanted high-frequency noise from both the AC power and digital signal paths. This enhancement results in a remarkably lower noise floor, ensuring a cleaner and more accurate audio reproduction.
A standout feature of the UEF Mk.II is the introduction of the Ultra Low Frequency (ULF) Biasing system. This innovative technology replaces high-frequency noise with harmonics derived from the Earth’s Schumann Resonance, seamlessly passing through the EM Cells without alteration. Unlike its predecessor, which primarily focused on first-order noise reduction, the Mk.II leverages ULF Biasing to enhance the overall musicality of the audio, providing a more natural and immersive listening experience.
