High-end audio specialist T+A Elektroakustik has unveiled the new Talis R 330 bookshelf speakers, continuing the evolution of their renowned Talis series. The R 330 embodies the company's philosophy that elegant design should never compromise sound quality.
Building on the success of the floor-standing S 330 model, the R 330 boasts a two-way design featuring a 170mm woofer and a new 25mm magnesium tweeter. This combination delivers a remarkable frequency range of 35 Hz to 40,000 Hz, ensuring clarity and precision across the audio spectrum. With a sensitivity of 85 dB and an impedance of 4 ohms, these speakers are designed to perform with audiophile-grade finesse.
One of the standout features of the R 330 is the innovative WrapAround Baffle. By extending the baffle over the edges and eliminating visible screws, T+A minimizes unwanted diffractions and reflections, enhancing the speaker's acoustic performance while maintaining a sleek, seamless appearance. The elegant black chassis further accentuates the modern aesthetic, allowing the speakers to blend effortlessly into any listening environment.
Internally, the R 330 incorporates several cutting-edge technologies. The StarStabilizer membranes ensure piston-like movement of the drivers, resulting in reduced distortion and improved sound accuracy. The aluminum housing is meticulously braced to maximize internal volume and rigidity, contributing to the speaker's exceptional imaging capabilities. Additionally, a redesigned crossover network refines the overall sound signature, balancing audiophile precision with a pleasurable listening experience.
For optimal placement, T+A has developed the dedicated LS 300 stand for the R 330. This stand securely mounts to the speaker, providing stability and an integrated cable management system. Speaker cables can be neatly routed through the profiled tube of the LS 300, keeping the setup clean and organized.
The Talis R 330 bookshelf speakers are now available in silver and black finishes through authorized dealers. Priced at 6,900 euros per pair, they represent T+A's commitment to delivering high-fidelity sound without sacrificing design elegance.
