The Studio PSU, with over 800 components including custom transformers, independently powers the Studio Player and Studio Clock for improved sound quality.
The Studio Clock introduces Wadax's TRUE MASTER CLOCK™ technology, offering precise synchronization via six configurable 75-ohm BNC outputs and touchscreen setup.
Wadax, the esteemed Spanish audio equipment manufacturer, showcased its complete Studio Player lineup at the High End Show 2024 in Munich. Building on last year's introduction of the network player equipped with an optical drive for CD and SACD playback, as well as Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect support, this year’s display included the new Studio Clock and Studio PSU. These additions are designed to complement the Studio Player, enhancing the overall performance and functionality of the system.
The Studio Player stands out with its modular architecture and upgrade capabilities, ensuring it remains the central component of an audio setup for years to come. It features fully replaceable Atlantis Reference DAC modules, granting access to Wadax’s latest technological advancements. Users can further enhance their system with the Studio PSU and Studio Clock. The Studio PSU incorporates over 800 components, including dual custom 50OVA transformers, and offers dual Akasa DC outputs to independently power both the Studio Player and Studio Clock, significantly improving sound quality.
The Studio Clock introduces Wadax’s proprietary TRUE MASTER CLOCK™ technology, derived from their renowned Zepto clock. It provides six fully configurable, isolated 75-ohm BNC outputs, allowing precise synchronization with a wide range of DACs, routers, and servers. The touchscreen interface ensures easy setup, while the option to connect an Akasa DC Studio Cable optimizes external PSU performance, further refining the audio output.
Additionally, the Akasa DC Studio Cable, crafted with a single-crystal uni-lattice copper conductor and a blue silk sheath, ensures minimal signal loss and superior mechanical resonance control. This cable is available in a standard 1.0-meter length, with custom lengths available upon request, seamlessly integrating with the Studio Collection to deliver a cohesive and high-fidelity audio experience.
Wadax remains committed to redefining sound quality and setting new standards in high-end audio through continuous research and development. The Studio Collection, available for purchase through authorized dealers worldwide, exemplifies the company’s dedication to innovation and excellence in audio technology.
