ELAC has introduced a new addition to its Muro Pro series, the OD-M61 on-wall speaker, designed specifically for outdoor environments. What sets this speaker apart is its IP66-rated enclosure, offering protection against moisture and dust, making it an excellent choice for a patio, garden, or poolside setup. Moving away from outdated designs like rock-shaped garden speakers, the OD-M61 presents a modern aesthetic and practical versatility without compromising sound quality.
The OD-M61 operates within a frequency range of 80 Hz to 20,000 Hz, with an impedance of 8 ohms and sensitivity rated at 86 dB. ELAC recommends pairing the speaker with an amplifier offering between 30 and 100 watts of power for optimal performance. The two-way design incorporates a 25-mm silk dome tweeter and a robust 6.5-inch woofer made from a polypropylene cone reinforced with aramid fibers.
