Nothing has introduced the CMF Buds 2, a new addition to their wireless earbuds lineup, priced at $59. These earbuds feature a distinctive rotating wheel on the charging case, allowing users to effortlessly adjust volume, manage calls, switch tracks, and toggle active noise cancellation (ANC) modes.
The CMF Buds 2 are equipped with 11mm PMI drivers and benefit from Dirac Opteo sound tuning, delivering a rich and balanced audio experience. The enhanced ANC system effectively reduces ambient noise by up to 48 dB, utilizing a hybrid approach with six microphones and supporting a wide 5,200Hz frequency range to adapt in real time based on the surrounding environment.
Connectivity is powered by Bluetooth 5.4, offering dual device pairing and compatibility with Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair, ensuring seamless synchronization across multiple devices. The earbuds are rated IP55 for water and dust resistance, making them durable for various conditions, while the charging case holds an IPX2 rating against water splashes.
Battery performance is robust, providing up to 13.5 hours of playback on a single charge and extending to 55 hours with the charging case when ANC is not in use. When ANC is activated, the earbuds offer 7.5 hours of playback alone and up to 32 hours with the case.
Available in Light Green, Dark Grey, and Orange, the CMF Buds 2 can be pre-ordered from Nothing's official webstore, with deliveries set to begin on April 18, 2025.
