Optimized noise-cancellation with dual sensors and adaptive control for immersive sound.
Extended battery life offering up to 40 hours without noise cancellation and quick charge support.
Refined design with touch controls, auto-pause sensor, and IPX4 water resistance.
Sony has expanded its True Wireless lineup with the introduction of the WF-C710N earbuds, offering significant enhancements over the previous WF-C700N model. These earbuds feature an optimized noise-cancellation system, utilizing dual noise sensors and adaptive noise control to more effectively reduce ambient sounds. This improvement addresses past criticisms and provides a more immersive listening experience, whether in a bustling urban environment or a quiet office setting.
Battery life has been notably increased, with the WF-C710N delivering up to 8.5 hours of playback on a single charge. When paired with the charging case, total usage extends to 30 hours, and up to 40 hours without active noise cancellation. Additionally, a quick charge feature allows for 60 minutes of playback from just five minutes of charging, ensuring minimal downtime during busy days.
The design of the WF-C710N has been refined for greater user convenience and comfort. Touch controls replace the traditional physical buttons, allowing for intuitive management of music and calls. A new sensor detects when the earbuds are removed from the ears, automatically pausing playback to save battery and prevent unwanted audio. The earbuds are also rated IPX4 for water resistance, providing protection against splashes and light rain, making them suitable for various environments and activities.
Sound performance remains a strong point for the WF-C710N, equipped with 5mm drivers and DSEE technology to enhance audio quality with rich bass and clear highs. The integration of AI-powered voice recognition ensures clear call quality by effectively filtering out background noise. Users can customize their sound settings through the Sony | Sound Connect app, allowing for a tailored listening experience.
In addition to the new earbuds, Sony is refreshing its Over-Ear models with new color options. The WH-CH720N now comes in a pastel pink variant, while the WH-CH520 is available in a vibrant yellow. Priced at €119.99, the WF-C710N offers a compelling combination of advanced features, improved battery life, and stylish design, making it a strong contender in the competitive True Wireless market.
