SVS has unveiled its latest 5000 R|Evolution Series, introducing two new 15-inch powered subwoofers: the SB-5000 R|Evolution sealed model and the PB-5000 R|Evolution ported model. Each unit delivers an impressive 2,000 Watts RMS power and can reproduce bass frequencies as low as 13Hz, promising an immersive audio experience that brings movie nights to life.
Both subwoofers feature SVS's proprietary 15-inch driver equipped with a dual edge-wound voice coil and a robust 38lb toroidal ferrite magnet motor. This design ensures stable electromagnetic current transfer and precise control, while the copper-clad aluminum voice coil wiring enhances thermal capacity and magnetic field strength. The sealed SB-5000 offers a frequency response of 17Hz to 280Hz, whereas the ported PB-5000 extends down to 13Hz in extended mode.
