Wireless subwoofer complements sleek soundbar design.
Xiaomi has unveiled its latest audio solution, the Soundbar Pro 2.1, offering a promising leap in cinematic sound quality. At the heart of the setup lies a combination of powerful hardware and versatile features designed for immersive entertainment. Central to the system is a sleek soundbar housing two full-range drivers, complemented by a wireless subwoofer featuring a notable 6.5-inch design capable of delivering up to 180W. Together, the soundbar and subwoofer form a 2.1-channel configuration, pushing a total power of up to 300W.
Engineered for modern audio demands, the Soundbar Pro 2.1 embraces Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X technology to construct a rich, spatial audio experience. Whether listening to music, watching movies, or gaming, users can opt for one of six tailored audio modes to best suit their content preferences. For connectivity, the device features HDMI ARC alongside optical and coaxial inputs, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of setups. Wireless streaming from mobile devices is straightforward, thanks to Bluetooth and integrated NFC capabilities.
The design of the Soundbar Pro 2.1 reflects attention to both form and function. Its brushed metal finish exudes durability and refinement, while the soundbar’s hidden display seamlessly blends with its understated aesthetics. The dimensions of the soundbar are 840 x 87 x 60 mm, making it an unobtrusive addition to most living spaces. Meanwhile, the wireless subwoofer’s compact design measures 363 x 249 x 249 mm, allowing flexibility in placement without sacrificing bass performance.
Operational control has been made user-friendly via an included infrared remote and touch-sensitive buttons integrated into the soundbar’s body. These intuitive options promise smooth navigation of modes and settings. While specific details on pricing and availability remain under wraps, the previous model, Soundbar 2.0, retailed at €59.99 in European markets, offering a potential reference point for affordability. The Soundbar Pro 2.1’s recent achievement of the 2025 Red Dot Design Award further underscores Xiaomi's commitment to blending aesthetic appeal with advanced technology.
