YinLvMei introduces the M400E, a sophisticated portable DAC and headphone amplifier designed for discerning audiophiles seeking exceptional sound quality and versatile connectivity. Crafted with a CNC-machined aluminum chassis and protected by 2.5D glass, the M400E combines modern aesthetics with durable construction, making it a standout choice for both portable and stationary setups.
At the heart of the M400E lies the ESS ES9038PRO 8-channel DAC, capable of decoding PCM signals up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD streams up to DSD512. This is complemented by an asynchronous USB interface implemented with the CT7601PR chip, ensuring stable and high-fidelity digital signal transmission. The amplification path features a custom assembly of OPA1612 operational amplifiers and eight power transistors operating in Class A, providing ample power to drive a wide range of headphones with varying impedances and sensitivities. Additionally, the device incorporates a two-stage gain control and a Japanese-made NEC relay to protect against connection-related audio artifacts.
