The Cabasse Caravelle is a three-way loudspeaker first introduced in 1986 and manufactured in France. It employs a closed chassis design and features a total of three drivers: a 21 cm honeycomb dome woofer (model 21NDB), a 5.5 cm dome midrange driver, and a 2.5 cm dome tweeter. The speaker's specifications showcase a peak power handling capability of 850 watts and an efficiency rating of 93 dBA at 1 meter distance. The frequency response is aligned with crossovers set at 700 Hz between the woofer and midrange, and at 5000 Hz between midrange and tweeter, all operating with an impedance of 8 Ohms. The dimensions of the Caravelle are 30 cm in width, 66 cm in height, and 27 cm in depth, with a weight of 18 kg. While it is designed to be driven by the Cabasse active compensator, it can also be used independently without it. The loudspeaker is presented in a walnut finish, enhancing its aesthetic appeal in various settings.
