The OPTICON 1 MK2 is a compact, stand-mount speaker that impressively delivers remarkable bass performance for its size, seamlessly integrating with the midrange and high-frequency quality of its drivers. One of its standout features is its patented SMC magnet motor, which significantly minimises electro-acoustic distortion by reducing hysteresis, thus ensuring a cleaner sound output.

The design incorporates dual-flare reflex ports that efficiently minimise turbulence, thereby enhancing low-frequency performance. This attention to detail ensures a rich and deep bass response, which belies the speaker's compact size. Each pair of DALI stereo speakers is meticulously assembled by hand, with a single technician handling the process from start to finish. This practice ensures both visual and acoustic consistency, as the components used are derived from the same batch.

Manufactured in our Danish facilities, the OPTICON 1 MK2 exemplifies our commitment to quality, with processes ranging from laminate cutting to surface finishing being carefully overseen. The speakers are available in a Tobacco Oak vinyl finish, giving them a sophisticated and elegant appearance that complements any home decor.

As a true 2-way compact performer, the OPTICON 1 MK2 builds on the legacy of the impressive MK1 series. It is designed specifically for small to medium-sized rooms, making it an ideal high-performance bookshelf speaker. It includes our signature wood fibre cone and patented low-loss SMC magnet system, which work together to deliver low distortion, minimal colorations, and high power handling capabilities. The assembly of the OPTICON 1 MK2 at our production facilities in Denmark ensures that every speaker upholds the high standards DALI is known for, using components either produced in-house or sourced from the finest local specialist manufacturers and beyond.
