The Kenwood DP-969 is a CD player manufactured by Kenwood, produced between August 1987 and 1988 in Japan. The unit features a black finish and is designed to be user-friendly with a remote control option. It measures 340 mm in width, 84 mm in height, and 349 mm in depth, with a weight of 4 kg. The original price at the time of release was approximately 998 DM. The DP-969 is equipped with analog outputs offering a voltage of 2.0 V and an impedance of 3.4 kOhm, as well as a digital coaxial output. Technically, it supports 2-fold oversampling, providing a frequency response and a dynamic range of 93 dB at 1 kHz. Additionally, it boasts a minimal distortion factor of 0.0035% at 1 kHz and a channel separation of 90 dB at the same frequency. Its features include a numerical field for direct title selection and the ability to program up to 20 titles.
