Metallica’s seminal 1996 album, Load, is set for a comprehensive reissue on June 19, 2025, via UMR. This re-release celebrates the album’s enduring legacy by offering fans an array of formats and an extensive collection of previously unreleased material. The remaster, handled by Reuben Cohen, ensures enhanced audio quality while preserving the album’s original intensity.
The reissue includes the original Load album remastered for the first time, featuring iconic tracks such as “Until It Sleeps,” “Hero of the Day,” and “King Nothing.” Notably, the extended version of “The Outlaw Torn” makes its debut in this edition, restoring content that was previously omitted due to manufacturing constraints.
