Picture stepping onto a field at dawn, only to see a towering LED display dominating the horizon with vibrant colors that cut through any lingering fog. Photonoics has introduced the JUMBO162, a mobile LED screen measuring 17 x 9.5 meters, with a diagonal reaching an impressive 767 inches (about 19.5 meters). Its total area of 161.5 square meters matches the playing surface of a standard singles tennis court, creating an almost cinematic experience wherever it’s deployed.
Under the hood, this screen operates at a 4K resolution with a 3.9 mm pixel pitch, delivering precision-level detail for large-scale presentations. Brightness peaks around 5000 nits, enhancing visibility even in broad daylight. The inclusion of Infinite Colors technology extends the color palette, pushing visual depth further than most traditional panels.
Data processing is managed by the VR Helios LED Processing Platform, which feeds those massive arrays of LEDs with smooth signals. Wind tolerance up to 61 km/h keeps stability in windy conditions, ensuring consistent performance when used at concerts, festivals, and similarly demanding outdoor events.
According to Photonoics, the JUMBO162 sets a new benchmark as the largest display in its category. Its size, processing capabilities, and robust construction suggest a screen that can handle diverse environments without compromising quality or safety. And with an official unveiling date of 16 February 2025, there’s a sense of anticipation around how this sprawling LED marvel might redefine large-format displays in the near future.
