Contour S CX

The Contour S CX is a special center speaker that stems from Dynaudio's extensive experience in crafting professional studio loudspeaker technology tailored for modern multi-channel recordings. Dynaudio holds a steadfast commitment to ensuring uniformity in sound character and quality across every loudspeaker in a multi-channel system, deeming any variation among speakers as unacceptable.

With the advent of more high-resolution multi-channel digital formats, the center channel has assumed an increasingly pivotal role. The Contour S CX leverages highly dynamic mid/bass drivers equipped with solid aluminum voice coils, delivering exceptional power handling and impressive low-frequency performance, even in larger rooms. The drivers are mounted onto a robust, damped metal front baffle, ensuring absolute resonance control within the comparatively spacious cabinet.

Embedded within the Contour S CX is the advanced Esotar² soft dome tweeter, which is renowned for its ability to reproduce high frequencies with the highest resolution and purity. This tweeter ensures a homogenous response, a quality inherited from the Contour S 5.4 model where this tweeter was originally featured.

For aesthetic versatility, the Contour S CX is available in a variety of real-wood veneer finishes, including Maple, Cherry, Rosewood, and Black Ash. Additional finishes, such as other real-wood veneers and specialized options like Piano Clear Lacquer, White Piano Lacquer, and Black Piano Lacquer, can be ordered upon request.
