This model embodies the values and ambitions that spurred the founding of Dynaudio in 1977: the pursuit of uncolored, effect-free sound that faithfully reproduces music as intended. Each speaker is assembled in Denmark, handcrafted to the highest standards by a team of experts in various fields including furniture polishing, acoustics, materials science, woodworking, and CNC machining. The result is a product that does not leave the factory until it meets near-impossible standards of perfection.

A crucial component of the Evidence Platinum’s remarkable sound is the Dynaudio Directivity Control (DDC) technology, which reduces the impact of the listening room by up to 75%. This is achieved through a strategic arrangement of dual woofers, midrange drive units, and the celebrated Esotar2 tweeters. These components are precision-matched and assembled along a robust 4cm-thick machined aluminum baffle. Further enhancing performance, the advanced crossover design, updated wiring, and high-quality components are housed in isolated compartments to minimize unwanted vibrations, ensuring a pristine thermal and mechanical environment.

The use of four woofers, distributed across two cabinets, permits a more balanced presentation of lower frequencies than a single large subwoofer could achieve. This setup allows for both the power of larger drivers and the control and precision of smaller ones.

At the heart of the Evidence Platinum is the Esotar2 tweeter, a product of nearly 40 years of relentless research and development.
