The advanced driver technology of the Evoke 20 ensures superior performance. The 18cm Esotec+ woofer, made from a 0.4mm thick MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) diaphragm, provides an impeccable balance of lightness, stiffness, and damping. The use of a strontium carbonate Ferrite+ ceramic magnet system allows the midrange and bass frequencies to be reproduced in perfect harmony. With a one-piece diaphragm that eliminates the need for a glued-on dust cap, the cone structure is significantly more rigid, resulting in less physical distortion. It ensures a better connection to the 52mm aluminum voice-coil, allowing efficient transfer of energy and enhancing the clarity of midrange frequencies.

The integrity of the driver assembly is maintained by an aramid fiber spider, while the seamless Contour-derived surround permits a longer throw ratio for enhanced power and punch. This meticulous engineering results in a speaker capable of producing deep, authoritative bass and clear, precise midrange tones.

The Cerotar tweeter is a unique design, drawing inspiration from the award-winning Esotar Forty anniversary tweeter and the high-end Esotar3 found in the Confidence series. Hidden behind the dome is the Hexis, an inner dome that shapes airflow to smooth out the frequency response, eliminating unwanted resonances. Powered by a strontium carbonate Ferrite+ ceramic magnet, the tweeter offers increased sensitivity, detailed resolution, and a natural, dynamic response.
