The 18cm Esotec+ woofer, made from a 0.4mm thick MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) diaphragm, provides an impeccable balance of lightness, stiffness, and damping. The use of a strontium carbonate Ferrite+ ceramic magnet system allows the midrange and bass frequencies to be reproduced in perfect harmony. With a one-piece diaphragm that eliminates the need for a glued-on dust cap, the cone structure is significantly more rigid, resulting in less physical distortion.
