Behind the music, Focus 30 stands on more than 40 years of Dynaudio’s acoustic expertise. Its drivers include the Cerotar soft-dome tweeter with the Hexis device for refined treble and twin 14cm MSP Esotec+ mid/bass units for well-balanced midrange and deep lows. Drawing inspiration from the top-tier Esotar 3 tweeter, the Cerotar uses a Ferrite+ magnet system for increased sensitivity, delivering clear and detailed high frequencies. The MSP material in the mid/bass units combines lightness, stiffness, and damping to provide precise control over sound reproduction.

With a closed-box cabinet design to maximize amplification and DSP capabilities, Focus 30 seamlessly connects low, mid, and high frequencies for an immersive audio experience.

Focus 30 is an active speaker system, with each driver powered by its own tailored amplifier. This ensures precise performance, with a 110W amp for the tweeter and 280W amps for each mid/bass driver, all sourced from Pascal in Copenhagen—partners familiar from Dynaudio's flagship pro speaker series, Core. 

The DSP functionality extends to room placement optimization via the Dynaudio app, allowing the speakers to perform best whether near a wall, in a corner, or in free space. Optional Dirac Live integration offers even deeper calibration. The speakers also recognize whether the magnetic grille is on and adjust accordingly, while a custom sliding high-pass filter maintains balance at high volumes.
