Sub 3

The Sub 3 features contour-level components and construction, making it a compact yet powerful subwoofer. It boasts a double-thickness front baffle and a brand-new 24cm driver, making it the perfect companion for any stereo or multichannel system. Designed to work equally well with movies and music, the Sub 3 delivers weight, authority, and punch regardless of the source.

Despite its compact size, the Sub 3 significantly alleviates the low-end strain on any stereo or multi-channel setup, enhancing midrange performance. While it retains the dimensions of the previous Dynaudio Sub 250, it incorporates a more powerful 300W amplifier and a full feature set comparable to the larger Sub 600, thanks to innovative engineering.

Among its new additions are a double-thickness 37mm front baffle (curved similar to the Contour series) to increase rigidity, and a brand-new 24cm driver that joins the rest of the Sub 3’s high-quality components. The Sub 3 is meticulously designed to integrate seamlessly into any system, regardless of size or configuration.

In setups where the amplifier lacks a subwoofer output, common in stereo systems, the Sub 3's dual RCA inputs and outputs facilitate signal pass-through. The subwoofer also features an adjustable high-pass filter (flat, 60Hz, or 80Hz), allowing users to fine-tune the crossover point for optimal performance.

Significant efforts have been made to integrate the advanced features of the Sub 600 into the body size of the Sub 250 while adding a new driver. Remarkably, this is achieved at a price point between the two models, allowing users to enjoy the enhanced features for €500 less than before.
