Originally introduced as the Lancer 99, it is one of the earlier models of active speakers, which later saw a passive variant released. The Athena S99 features a two-way bass reflex design, notable for its sensitivity of 80 dB at 1 watt from a distance of 15 feet. Its nominal impedance is rated at 8 ohms, making it compatible with a wide range of amplification options.
