The MB Quart Pur MCS is a high-performance 3-way open-type floorstanding loudspeaker produced between 1990 and 1991 in Germany. It features a robust design available in various finishes including Schleiflack Schwarz, Schleiflack Weiß, and different types of wood such as Eiche (oak) and Nußbaum (walnut). Custom finishes like Klavierlack (piano lacquer) in black and white are also available at an additional cost. The loudspeaker measures 300 mm in width, 1100 mm in height, and 350 mm in depth, with a weight of 36.5 kg per unit. It offers a high power handling capability, with a nominal power rating of 140 watts and a maximum music power of 160 watts. The loudspeaker is equipped with a 205 mm MBT 205 woofer for deep bass, a 50 mm aluminum dome MCD 52 midrange driver for clear vocals, and a 25 mm titanium dome MCD 27 tweeter for crisp highs. It boasts a frequency response that spans from 28 Hz to 32 kHz, an impedance of 4 ohms, and crossover frequencies at 510 Hz and 3.1 kHz, ensuring a well-balanced sound across various frequencies.
