The Naim NAIT 50 is an integrated amplifier created to celebrate Naim Audio's 50th anniversary. Released in 2023, it pays homage to the original NAIT 1 model from 1983. Handcrafted in England, this limited-edition product is available in a run of 1973 pieces. It features an updated design, incorporating a new discrete transistor headphone amplifier from the New Classic series, enhancing versatility in listening experiences. The amplifier delivers 25W per channel, capable of peaks up to 225W, and includes three analogue inputs along with a discrete transistor MM phono stage. It is designed to reproduce intricate dynamics with a combination of power and performance. The aesthetics reflect a blend of traditional and modern elements, featuring an aluminum construction and a design reminiscent of the original NAIT. It boasts a soft-start power up sequence to minimize current surge, automatic shutdown after 17 minutes, and low standby power consumption. The phono stage has been improved for better sound performance, and the input selection has been significantly upgraded compared to its predecessor. With a high current capability, the NAIT 50 aims to drive various loudspeaker types efficiently, ensuring a rich audio experience.
