The Onkyo TX-DS 484 is an audio/video amplifier released on April 19, 2000, at a price of ¥50,000. It is equipped with both Dolby Digital and a DTS decoder, making it capable of handling modern surround sound formats. This model includes Onkyo's Wide Range Amplification Technology (WRAT), which enhances the signal-to-noise ratio for improved audio clarity. The amplifier features a 24-bit crystal DSP processor and a 96 kHz / 24-bit digital-to-analog converter, ensuring high-quality sound processing.
