The PA 1100 E is an Integrated Amplifier with DAC, catering to customers seeking an amplifier with various digital inputs, but without the need for a CD drive. Designed as a standalone unit, it is not intended for use in conjunction with the MP 1000 E multi-source player. However, the PA 1100 E incorporates the high-quality D/A converter found in the MP 1000 E and also features an HDMI input. This allows the volume to be conveniently controlled via a TV remote control when connected to a television.
All the sub-assemblies of the PA 1100 E are identical to those of the PA 1000 E integrated amplifier, which means it shares the same acoustic performance and characteristics. The main difference between the two models lies in the inputs; one of the PA 1000 E's symmetrical inputs has been replaced by a digital input board in the PA 1100 E. This digital input board operates independently from the rest of the machine, with separate voltages supplied to its digital and analogue sections. It is equipped with its own micro-processor that fully controls the digital inputs, filters, and converter. As a result, it does not influence the analogue signal processing and sound qualities of the PA 1100 E.
Additionally, the PA 1100 E features a high-quality Bluetooth® module, enabling music transfer from mobile devices with superb aptX™ quality.
