The Focus XD range serves as a complete hi-fi system without the typical clutter. These high-end active speakers deliver true high-resolution wireless streaming from virtually any source. You can send in a digital signal, either wired or wireless, and it will remain pure up until the last moment, ensuring exceptional audio quality from the recording studio to the speaker driver. Featuring cutting-edge digital processing technology, the Focus XDs can handle full-fat, 24-bit/192kHz hi-res files effortlessly.

All the speakers in the Focus XD range share common controls and connections, allowing mix-and-match versatility. They feature digital coaxial in and out, an analogue input with adjustable sensitivity, and a seven-position control for fine-tuning placement in your room. Enhanced connectivity options are available with the addition of the Dynaudio Connect box, which provides digital optical, additional digital coaxial, RCA, 3.5mm analogue inputs, mini-USB (supporting 24-bit/96kHz streaming), aptX Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity including DLNA.

The Focus XD’s firmware is upgradeable, benefiting from continuous enhancements by Dynaudio engineers. The 2017 version introduced redesigned crossovers, reduced processing requirements for purer sound reproduction, and increased volume output from the drivers without distortion or compression. With less processing, more has been devoted to EQ for improved speaker-position compensation. Additionally, tech from LYD pro-studio monitors allows for tweaking overall brightness via a switch on the back.
