The Sub 250 II is the most compact Dynaudio subwoofer and serves as an ideal solution for home theatres, stereo systems, and subwoofer/satellite systems where space is a limitation. Equipped with a powerful 200 W amplifier and a long-throw 24 cm woofer, it features a compact sealed-enclosure design that allows for easy integration into various setups.

This subwoofer utilizes a long-throw woofer design, a large 100 mm voice coil, and a cone made from Dynaudio’s proprietary MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) material. These elements come together to produce deep, precise, and detailed bass that harmonizes with the sonic character of Dynaudio's main speakers. Achieving a seamless match between the main speakers and the subwoofer is often a critical but overlooked component of an enhanced audio system. The Sub 250 II ensures this seamless integration, adding significant substance and depth to any two-channel or surround sound setup. Its sealed cabinet enclosure, cubic shape, rigid MDF construction, and forward-firing woofer contribute to exceptional bass precision and make it straightforward to position in any room.

In terms of bass performance, the Sub 250 II features an amplifier circuit that includes variable gain settings, a variable Low-Pass Filter (ranging from 50 Hz to 150 Hz), and a selectable phase switch (0º or 180º). The audio signal can be routed from an AV Receiver's Subwoofer/LFE output into the LFE Input (1 x RCA) or from a Stereo Amplifier's Pre-Out into the SUB Input (2 x RCA). Additionally, a selectable High-pass Filter (options for Flat, 60 Hz, or 80 Hz) is available to facilitate crossover integration between the Sub 250 II and the main speakers via the SAT Output (2 x RCA).

The bass performance can be further optimized by employing a multi-sub configuration with two or more subwoofers in parallel. For this purpose, the Sub 250 II includes a "slave" function, which bypasses all rear settings and adopts the settings from a "master" subwoofer. Positioning multiple subwoofers within a room generally results in more evenly dispersed bass, thereby improving the system's overall sound quality. Utilizing two or more smaller subwoofers can achieve superior bass performance compared to a single large subwoofer.

Available in Satin Black or Satin White lacquer finishes, as well as Rosewood or Walnut real wood veneer options, the Sub 250 II integrates effortlessly into any room and decor scheme.
