The Focal 300 ICA6 is an in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for versatile audio applications while providing a well-balanced sound experience. With its 35-degree angled driver configuration, both the tweeter and woofer are positioned to ensure optimal sound dispersion, making it suitable for installations in various ceiling locations. The speaker features a two-way driver design, incorporating a 1-inch aluminum/magnesium alloy inverted dome tweeter and a 6.5-inch Flax cone woofer. This combination results in remarkable neutrality and defined sound reproduction, especially enhancing vocals and dialogue in media. The tweeter leverages exclusive Focal technology, allowing for smooth and dynamic high frequencies, and includes a 3-way switch for output level adjustments based on the acoustic setting. The Flax cone utilizes a unique sandwich construction of flax fiber and glass fiber for lightweight, rigid, and well-damped performance, ensuring lifelike sound reproduction. An Optimum Phase Crossover (OPC) facilitates a more natural sound image between the tweeter and woofer. The speaker has spring-post terminals that accommodate various connection types, and it comes with both round and square magnetic grilles, ensuring a discreet aesthetic that can be customized through painting. The installation process is simplified through its Easy Quick Install (EQI) system, compatible with most ceiling thicknesses.
